So much goodness....

So much has transpired over the past 3 months since my last post. We played the Souper Groove Music  Festival hosted by Turtle Soup on 9/29, it went fantastically!!  2 videos are posted here www.facebook.com/rantantoon and here http://www.youtube.com/user/RanTanToon?feature=mhee
We also did a live recording at the Bus Stop in Pitman, NJ. Postings of that coming soon along with a CD that will be available. Let's see what else..ok, playing tonight at PJ's in Medford Lakes, NJ, anyone around tonight? I'll try to stay more current as it looks like things are about to get busier for us, stay tuned...

Back at Valley Stables!

Okay, been a while since the last post, but, we will be back at Valley Stables in Oakland, NJ, 588 Ramapo Valley Road this Friday, the 30th. Always a good time there, and hopefully more pictures and video from it as well. Valley Stables 2/24

Well we're goin' up to North Jersey this time to entertain the masses up there. At Valley Stables in Oakland, NJ. Much better chance of coming away with some video this time, and perhaps debuting a new tune by a certain band named after a heavy blimp...who could it be? and what song? Come and find out!

So, last night at Time went well, a lot of couples at a post-Valentine's day happening. Tried really hard to get a good video but it was just too dimly lit, sorry. A shame too, a lot of great playing between us last night. But here's a pic...hey everybody turn around!! There's a band standing right behind you!  this was actually taken right before we started.

Hello, we are Ran Tan Toon. Call us jazz, call us a jamband, call us whatever you like. At the end of the day, it's music. It's communication without words, and we invite you in for a chat. What will you hear? Hopefully, the heart and soul of three guys who mean it. We don't do this just because we want to, we do it because we have to. The influences are many, some shine through right away, others you will hear over time.
